Prices on baby furniture to rise after New Year

I went to BBB on Saturday looking for baby furniture. i found a set I like and my husband said to put it on the registry and then after the shower (12/29) we would get 10% off. The saleswoman was saying that they were expecting prices on furniture to go up after the New Year...wouldn't it be opposite. I am due on 2/26, however, I am a type 1 diabetic and have a strong likelihood of delivering earlier. How long can I possibly wait to get the furniture because the woman also said that they tell people it takes 8-14 weeks to deliver.

I would order the furniture now honestly. There is a 20% off coupon for BBB out there right now. Plus I dont think the completion coupon comes until after your DUE date, or at least close to it. I just got mine from BRU and I am due in less than 2 weeks, havent rec'd anything from BBB.

I order my crib there, they told me 8-14 weeks and it was in in 2-3 weeks.
