private school tuition?
for BTDT mom's, would you mind sharing the tuition for private schools on LI? We currently live in Massapequa but Amityville SD. We won't have to worry about SD's for another few years but we will need to consider cost of tuition or moving before our children reach school age.
Is there a website where I can find average tuition rates for Long Island?

I was considering sending Ella to a nursery school that happens to be a private school that goes up to 6th grade. They sent me the price list for the whole school.
For K-6th grade, they charge just under $13K.

Do you want private school or Catholic/religious school? I believe the pricing is very different.

Parochial school is fairly inexpensive (400-600 per month) in the lower grades. But, private school typically runs 15-25K per year, at least the ones I'm familiar with.

Catholic grammar schools (K-8) in the Diocese of RVC are approximately $4,000 a year. (Can vary a bit depending on size of parish and school).
