Proactiv - Is it safe to use?
I have been using Proactiv for years. I just found out I am pregnant, I think I about 5 weeks.
I was reading FitPregnancy Magiziene last night and it said to avoid acne medications. The article said steer clear of all oral and topical treatments that contain vit A or its derivatives, such as Accutane, Retin-A and Ronova.
It didn't mention Proactiv, but now I am concerned.
Has anybody asked this question before?

I dont use it.....but my SIL is a nurse and we were discussing facial products she said dont use it! But I would just listen to your Dr.!..Congratulations! Happy and Healthy!

I guess every doctor is different, he said since the main ingredient is benzoyl peroxide, it was fine to use....I would talk to your doctor but I used it the whole time and my daughter is beautifully healthy
