Problems with Pump and Style Original?

I purchased the Pump and Style Original breastpump yesterday and it doesn't work. The pump is so slow that it doesn't get any milk out unless I am overflowing. I called their service dept today and this girl made me check the whole thing over. Nothing seems to be wrong except for this slow motor.

Does anyone else use this pump with no problems? Of course I can't return the thing

Not sure where you bought it but I bought one the other day from BRU and used it once. The next time I used it the motor just died.

They took it back and I got a different pump with no problems.

Maybe you should try that tell them that it is broken.

Thank you so much for replying. My DH told me to just return it. I never thought BRU would take it back once opened and that I would have to deal with Medela.

I will go there tomorrow.

I had a problem with my pump (this is going back 5 years). Medela sent me a new one but I had to send them my old one first. Um hello, you better be quick about sending it because well - I NEED TO PUMP!

Call Medela if the store won't take it back. They have a year warranty I think on purchase. This was at the 3 month mark. The pump failed.

i have one
i didn't get to use it that much but I have to say after using the pump at the hosptial- this one pales in comparison. But it did have an OK motor and I was able to get some out (I had supply issues anyway)
i would try & get another one...
