Product RAVE - Dry Shampoo
Best thing ever: dry shampoo!!!!
It might just be the best thing that has happened to me since I had my son. I recently had a haircut and it was recommended to me while there.
The one that I have is: "Goldwell Dual Senses Ultra Volume Dry Shampoo"
Not only does it do the normal stuff a dry shampoo does like remove the oil and ick from your hair -- but with my hair being so filled with static and out of control in the winter, it helps contain it and with a few sprays it looks sleek and amazing!!! So easy to style!!
I love this stuff. Wanted to share!

I'm scared of dry shampoo
WHY?
I never used it either until my hair guy told me HOW to when he sold it to me -- and it's funny because it scared me at first because it goes on WET -- right to the scalp! And it FEELS wet so I'm like omg my hair is going to be crunchy and mousse-filled and like, wet looking... but NOT at all!!!
It ends up drying within seconds and making the hair feel light, airy, and then sleek and shiny so I can style it how I need it. It's wonderful.

I dont know. I have really thick, but super straight hair. I feel like it gets greasy after 1 day of no shampoo.

Thanks! I saw that, with $3 shipping. I was wondering if that was a deal or not.

I don't quite understand dry shampoo. I've never used it before, or even heard about it till recently.
Can someone explain how it's better than washing your hair?
I feel like washing is more thorough.

OK, so for me, I wash my hair everyday.
Each person is different but if I go a day without washing my hair it gets oily and looks and feels different to me - and not in a good way - almost immediately. I hate it. So, no biggie, I just make sure I wash it everyday. I know a lot of people tell you that's not good to do - but whatevs!
But then my son came along and sometimes I like to run out and do errands in the morning or go to the gym first but my hair - and it might be in my head - but my hair looks and feels not that great to me.
So, I tried the dry shampoo. And it's amazing. Some women will use it and not wash their hair until every other day or every third day. It's great for that but I, personally, don't do that - I use it when say I was my hair on a Saturday, then Sunday morning I want to go get starbucks and go to the gym - I'll use it before that and then wash my hair after at some point that day. KWIM?
I bought it for those purposes -- WELL, once I started using it I discovered that when I WASH my hair -- I style it, good to go, and it's been kind of filled with static and just blah because it's winter -- so I'm like let me put the dry shampoo in and see what happens. Well! It got rid of the static, allowed me to style my hair so much better, and made it so sleek/shiny and nice looking. I was thrilled.
For me, it became kind of dual purpose. Use it in between washes and during styling after I wash it. I don't know if others have experienced this or not but I'm in heaven.

Re: Product RAVE - Dry Shampoo
I'm going to have to check this out! I always use the spray/powder ones. I haven't used one that goes on wet!! You had me a shiny!!
I use dry shampoo all the time. I used to wash my hair every day, and it got kind of flat over time. I have fine hair, but a TON of it. I noticed when I started going a couple of days between washing, my hair (over time) was stronger, fuller and grew faster. The dry shampoo helps on days when my hair looks greasy. It also adds a little texture and holds a style longer.
