Product Rave!!!!- Chip Skip for Nails!!!
Ok, so I hate that EVERY time I get a manicure, by later that day or the next it chips and 2 days later i have no nail polish on! So someone told my I need a primer on my nails bc they are probably oily... So I bought OPI Chip Skip and used it for the first time yesterday and so far so good!!! I mean, usually by now the edges start to peel up and the polish even feels soft. Not today. I mean it is hard as a rock and not one chip!!!! This is HUGE for me!!!! hahaha I will update the end of the week and see how many days the manicure lasted. I went with a light color this week just in case, but i think next week I will not hesitate to get Berry Hard!!

Very cool. I have to try this! Do you tell the manicurist to put it on before the polish or do you put it on yourself after the manicure?

No actually it needs to be applied BEFORE your nail polish. I didn't believe it would work. Its in a nail polish bottle but it has a very thin brush and when you apply it, it like brushing water on your nail (smells like nail polish remover) and when you brush it on it dries instantly and it looks like there is nothing to your nail! Its not shiny or anything. Its invisible. Then you still need to apply your base, nail polish and top coat. It works GREAT!!!!! Let me know if you like it. I bought it in the beauty supply store in The Source Mall- Trade Secret.

Sally Hansen's 10 day manicure works really well too.

i've used this too, but unfortunately it didn't work for me
it DID make my nail color peel off entirely, not just chip.

Me too.
Also- be careful using it if you have very dry or brittle nails (it actually says this on the instructions too) because it works by removing all the oils from the surface of your nails- polish adheres better to nails that are 100% dry and free of oils.
You will notice when you brush it on that your nails feel dry- so if you have very dry or brittle nails- it will make it worse.
