Professional Blind/shade installation?
Has anyone had a company - like Home Depot, etc - come to your house to measure for blinds, and then come back and install them? I'm wondering how much $$ the service costs.

Professional Blind/shade installation?
We had someone come and do it from a blinds store.
It depends on what type of blinds you pick, measurements, etc. you can have someone come and give an estimate and you can pick the level of quality of the blinds.

Local store. That just has blinds, window treatments, etc. he came to the house with samples, took measurements and gave us a price.
When they came in he came back and installed them (literally the whole house) in a couple hours.

Professional Blind/shade installation?
If you order from Lowes, def get the person to come and measure and install. We measured and installed ourselves, buit it was a disaster because the woman who took the order missed important things that should have been included and mistyped the crown valance thing so it has to be remade. Blinds came 3 weeks ago and we have a big gap in the valance part because of that. We couldn't hang them for the first week because she only included extension brackets on one of the blinds out of the 4 ordered. 3 of them went for the same set of windows lol
Pay the $99 to save yourself the headache lol

Verticals for Less
Recomm from LIF member on the Home board
I have used Kevin to install verticals for my
den,FLR and bedroom. He def takes the headache out of this process.
Kevin does it all ... Measures and installs
Top professionalism and TOTALLY reasonable !!

Yes. Not sure if it was a sale 3 weeks ago, or if that is their normal price. But it was $99 for all blinds ordered, not per blind. They also had a sale on Bali, so I went with those. They are very nice.
