professional organizer???
yay? nay?
has anyone ever used one? pros? cons?
i'm an avid crafter and i'm hoping to use part of the basement for my "stuff"... i'm also not a very well organized individual. i don't want it to become a crafting black hole.
tips/advice/reconmendations are all welcomed.

Re: professional organizer???
I wouldn't pay somebody to do something I could do myself.
I know this weekend I need to organize myself in my ebay area. The place is a mess and so much is still in boxes. Its a lot of work, but so much easier in the end!

Re: professional organizer???
I took a seminar given by a pro organizer @ my library a couple of months ago. She made a few great points, I would not pay for the service. I'm reading the book "its all too much" right now by the guy that is on the organizing show. Its inspiring & makes me question my sentimental value to things. Lately I'm on a getting rid of stuff binge. I'm cleaning out every nook & cranny of my house & having a big yard sale in a few weeks.

Re: professional organizer???
I would not pay for this service either. I actually pack some of the stuff and if I don't use it in a year or so, I get rid of it. I do that with clothes and everything else. And every time I buy something, I get rid of something....you always have to make space for the new to come in....

I watch shows on TV. I would not hire someone after watching the shows.
