professional painters...
does anyone know how much they usually cost? and does anyone have any recommendations? i want our hallway painted... from the downstairs, up the steps to the upstairs hallways. my mom has done our other rooms, but this one is going to be a pain so i was thinking of getting a professional. do they come in and give you an estimate depending on what the room looks like and what you want done? i have no clue what i even want done. i'm clueless

Some painters charge by the job, others by the day. We gots quotes for the rooms we wanted painted that were $2,000+. We went with the guy who charged by the day and it only wound up being $1,200.
