Progesterone blood test vs bbt
I had my first RE appt yesterday, which included a ton of bloodwork and an internal sonogram. Yesterday was CD19 and based on the sonogram the doctor said it doesn't look like you're going to ovulate any time soon. Based on my bbt chart, my temps were still low so it appeared I had not ovulated yet. This afternoon I got the results of my progesterone blood test and the nurse said it appears I already ovulated. This morning my temp was up almost .5 degree. I'm so confused. How am I supposed to know when I actually ovulated?

I'd go by your blood work, not the temping. There are too many variables outside your control that can affect temping.
Just curious why the RE said it didn't look like you'd O any time soon, but your progesterone level showed you Oed. Your lining should be nice and thick if you're post-O. Do you know what your prog level was?
