progesterone cream and bfp?
How many of you got your BFP when using progesterone cream? If so, how many dpo did you start it?
My dr has told me to go in for bloodwork on 7dpo, and based on my progesterone levels he will let me know whether or not to use it beginning on 8dpo. I have spoken to a couple of people, and they said they started the cream on 4dpo, so I am wondering if 8dpo is kind of late for me to be starting it..

progesterone cream and bfp?
As long as you've ovulated you can start progesterone. Is this an RE or a regular GYn?

progesterone cream and bfp?
regular gyn- my mom is a nurse and knows the practice very well, and got my gyn to do testing and things that an RE would do, because an RE wouldn't see me (i have had two losses but was told that i wouldn't be seen until I had 3).
My doctor told me that 7 days post ovulation, your progesterone peaks. He wants me to get bloodwork that day so he can see what my peak is and determine if I do in fact have low progesterone. Maybe that is why he wants me to wait until then?

That makes sense!

Find a different RE.

progesterone cream and bfp?
I called 3 REs.... I got pregnant twice so I am not infertile. All said to come in after 3 losses. Not uncommon as a family member was told the same

I agree with this! I had two back to back losses and contacted my RE and he had absolutely no problem seeing. I wasn't about to go through another loss and he couldn't agree more. Any fertility drug should be supervised by an RE. Currently I see him at least once a week since I just started medication.

Re: progesterone cream and bfp?
I did both times since I always had an issue with my progesterone/short LP. First time I was doing an IUI cycle with a RE. Used it 2 days after IUI. Second time I had some crinone left over from a failed IUI cycle. Decided to try on my own instead of going back to theRE, but used the crinone 2 days after O (I was using an OPK and temping to track O) and got BFP.
ETA this was not cream but a suppository.. you can prob get this from your OB.

progesterone cream and bfp?
I have used Endometrin Progesterone Inserts not cream for all of my IUI's. I start 2 days after IUI until day of period. I'm pregnant and do them twice a day for the first 13 weeks. My levels have always been good since on them and I did use it while getting my BFP.

i have a 60 day supply of crinone that my cousin never used and doesn't expire for over a year so I will use that.

Re: progesterone cream and bfp?
Hi! I know we've been in contact before so sorry to hear about 2 lossses. I think you need to contact an RE, asap. There's no reason to wait, plus if you are seeing an RE then g-dforbid you have another loss you can be tested for a reason to why... (you could actually probably be tested now) I only had 1 pregnancy and 1 loss when my RE ordered a multiple miscarriage blood panel on me. I recommend Dr. Zapantis or Dr. McAvey (RMA Group).

No I wouldn't do that yet. It's the insurance companies now that make it difficult where they make the doctors wait for 3 or more to see you. Unless you are willing to pay OOP. She's not infertile just low progesterone more than likely.

I got pregnant easily twice, so I think it is worth trying the progesterone and see what happens. If I have another mc (fingers crossed that I dont), then I will contact an RE.
