Progesterone question (as usual, TMI!)

I guess I'm just wondering... how do progesterone supps really work?

I feel like they are always leaking out! How can they do their job when they are constantly coming out?

Sorry for the TMI - but just genuinely curious!

Are you using the ones with the applicator? I find the ones with the applicator tend to go "up" further.....so a little less leaking- know what I mean?

Even if it is leaking a little I'm sure its still doing the job. But if it would make you feel better I would give the doctor's office a call and see what they say. Good luck Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Thanks...

Yeah I'm using the Endometrin this time which have the applicator. They aren't leaking as much... and I honestly have no reason to believe they aren't working - I guess I just don't really 'get it' KWIM?

Oh I hear you totally LOL There's a whole lot I dont get with all this IF stuff.

As far as excatly how they work - I'm pretty sure the the tablets are absorbed into your bloodstream as it "melts".

Dont' know how many times a day you are doing it, last month I had to have it 2x a day, once in the am and once in the pm...the pm one was ok, I did it right before bed so I was laying down the whole time it was dissolving.

The day one wasn't as good..some leaking.

I do!

I wasn't trying to complain about the leakage... just wondering how they do their job when it seems like they are completely coming out... KWIM?

I was on 4x per day, also. There was major leakage.

They just absorb into the blood stream.
