Progesterone suppositories question
Tomorrow is the first day I'll be using the progesterone suppositories before going to work. The suppository always seems to fall out when I'm walking around, so I've been inserting it and sitting/lying down for half an hour. It still falls out after that but I've read online that it needs about 20 minutes up there to be effective. Right? My RE doesn't tell me anything.
I can't wake up an hour early to do that before work tomorrow. Is there a trick to this?

Progesterone suppositories question
When I was doing suppositories in the AM I put it in before work and I have at least a 30 min drive so it kinda stayed in place. No matter what I did I was a leaky or chunky mess depending on which one you are using. Definitely wear dark colored pants and a liner. It gets worse as the days go on.
Good luck!

Re: Progesterone suppositories question
Yeah what needs to get absorbed will get where it needs to go, even though it will leak like a mofo!
And for anyone wondering why I always say I prefer pio over supps, this is why!

Mine became a mess hours later... they are so annoying and mine lasted too long b/c I was in beta hell for a bit. Definitely wear a pantyliner or even a pad!

Re: Progesterone suppositories question
Are you using the applicator or your finger? I could be wrong, but, it sounds like it is not getting all the way up as far as it can go. TMI maybe...but...I didn't like the applicators so I just used my finger and inserted it as far as I could go, like touching cx far. I didn't leak until hours later, almost when it was time for a new one.
When I first started using them, I had them "fall out" a couple times...turned out I just wasn't getting them up as far as they could go.

I was just going to type something very similar to above post. You really need to get it up there. I use the Endometrin tablets and find using the applicator is easier for me. If using the applicator, it should be inserted to the point where you can only see a tiny bit of the actual applicator. If you have half (or more) of the applicator hanging out, its not going up far enough!

Re: Progesterone suppositories question
Thanks for the tips! No problems this morning putting it in and then jumping in my car to drive to work. I've read that as long as it's up there for 20 minutes, you get the medicine you need and anything falling out after that is just the casing, so that made me feel better.
