Progesterone suppositories while nursing?
Hi all! I took a test yesterday and got a BPF. This time around we conceived naturally, but used the help of an RE to have DS in September 2010. As part of my treatment with DS I took progesterone suppositories (endometrin) until about 10 weeks. Also took estrogen, but can't recall when I stopped that. Will be getting BW today to confirm beta and progesterone levels at RE. DS is almost 14 months and we are still nursing. If RE recommends progesterone again, does anyone know if I can take it and continue to nurse? I really don't want to have to abruptly wean.
TIA

Re: Progesterone suppositories while nursing?
I took progesterone suppositories (Crinone) the first 12 weeks of both pregnancies. For this past pregnancy, I was nursing DS still and there were no issues. I never thought it would cause a problem at all. My midwife knew I was still nursing and she never told me there would be a problem. DS self weaned when I was 17 weeks pregnant. Good luck!
