progesterone while pregnant...
has anyone taken progesterone gel while being pregnant? my dr says my levels are in the normal range, but on the lower end? Just need feedback. Thanks

not the gel, but i was on prometrium supplements after my IUI and then the dr. quadrupled the dosage when i got BFP.
however, he said my levels were fine. he's just a big believer in it. My former GYN is not and they were making me sick so i stopped.

I was on suppositories for the first 6-7 weeks and them intramuscular injections for the 5-6 weeks after that. Never the gel though....

I did IVF and have been taking progesterone shots since 2/14/09 and will finally be able to stop when I hit my 10 week preggo mark which is Monday My butt cant wait for them to stop

I as on intramuscle injections from 12/5 until 1/23 (approximately 7 weeks) due to IVF.

ive been on alpha hydroxyprogesterone 17 injections since 16 weeks and will get them until i am 36 weeks. Mine is to relax my uterus.

I take oral progesterone with all my PG's till 12-13 weeks.

Yes, I am currently on prometrium. I was put on them at 6weeks b/c I was on the lower end of normal. I went for my 8week sono/blood work and was told yesterday that my levels looked good  I am still currently on them

I was on the injections through 8 wks and then the suppositories through 12 wks as a precaution since I did IVF.

I was on supplements for the first 10 weeks of my pregnancy. It is kind of yucky but I am thankful that I have my little man.

I was on progesterone suppositories for first trimester after IVF but this is standard protocol with an IVF pregnancy.
