Projectile Spit up all of a sudden. Is this normal?

DD spits up a little once in a while- fairly common and normal.

Last night when DH fed her around 9pm, he said that she projectile spit up a lot. She fell asleep around midnight and I woke her up at 5am this morning to feed her since it had been 8 hours since she last ate. (she's 7.5 weeks old). She didnt burp at all and at the end of the bottle when I was burping her, she projectile spit up a lot....

When should I be concerned? If she does this with the next bottle? When should I call the doc? Is this just normal and it happens once in a awhile? I'm just afraid she isnt getting enough food.

If you are concerned call the dr. but since she didn't burp during the whole bottle it may have just been a lot of gas that made the large spit up. See what happens after the next couple of bottles.

see how often it happens...
if it increases, it may be reflux... my DS had this (eventually grew out of it), but we went the whole nine yards trying to combat it...wedge under crib mattress, prescription meds, rice cereal added to bottle, etc. etc.

of course check with dr. first... hope it's nothing!
