promotion interview (nursing)

I discussed my potential promotion with my manager. I guess it went well... The position will be posted in the beginning of the year. She said I had a lot of good qualities and traits shes looking for but she wanted other applicants. I don't see how that is a good thing but hubby remains certain it's a technicality. Anyway, I will still need to go through an application process. I will need to interview with her, the other team leaders and staff for 3 interviews total. Ugh so much. Any tips or list of questions I can anticipate?

if its nursing they may give you a scenario and ask you to solve or them may ask you for a vignette about a tough case, pt and how you solved the problem. Not sure, but good luck

My boss told me she has to interview 3 people for every job she posts. I am in nursing.
