Prompt Method.....
Anyone familiar with it? We are thinking of doing this with Christopher. His speech teacher is going through certification and also wants to use Christopher as her student. We also want to take him to private speech for it. My question is how do I get my insurance company to pay for it, or part of it??

Re: Prompt Method.....
My son has been receiving prompt therapy since May and his results are amazing! He has severe apraxia and with this therapy he is starting to speak.
My insurance doesn't pay for it b/c it is private therapy and the therapist we use doesn't take insurance. They do reinburse me for a very small amount of it after I submit a claim form. HTH.

Re: Prompt Method.....
Prompt therapy will help him with his pronunciation and make his speech more clear.
I'm assuming certain sounds are hard for him to make, the speech therapist will help his oral muscles move a certain way to make this sounds.
I am unsure of insurance though! Good luck
