Protection for my suede Kooba bag

So I got this new bag a few weeks ago, and it might just be my most favorite bag ever!, but I have yet to use it because I feel like I should spray it with some sort of protectant first. I have this stuff that I use on my Uggs and on hats and stuff, but I'm afraid to use it on my precious bag—it tends to darken whatever I spray it on. What should I use?

i would call kooba first..
that said, i bought suede from nordstroms and they told me to use the ugg protectant spray, which i already ahd. it worked great! this was on black so im not sure if the color changed.

I just got a suede kooba too- and it's my fav (I think we have the same one)

I couldn't wait to use it and I took it out on sunday- it got wet- but dried fine
