Proteins/Carbs/Starches
I found a website a while back that you could look up a certain type of food, and it would tell you how much of that food is protein, how much carbs, etc.
I found out that carrots are not so great for you! And neither is corn. Figures, two things I actually like.
Anyway, does anyone know of a website (free) that does this? I'm p*ssed that I lost that link, it was a great site. I keep finding sites that give you a little info, and then make you buy a book or video or membership to get the rest.
TIA!

That sounds like an interesting website - I don't know what it is but I will try to find one.

Yes, I always heard that carrots are high in sugar and corn is full of carbs.
And I LOVE corn too!

You can track your calorie intake at sparkpeople.com for free. They can tell you how many calories/fat/protein/carbohydrate grams/fiber/vitamin is in what you eat.

Snoz, that's awesome! I joined, and I'm making an exercise and meal plan.
As I'm doing it, I remembered that i signed up at that old website I was trying to remember. So I went through my emails and I found it!
Here's the page I was talking about with the nutritional information, this one is for corn:
http://www.calorie-count.com/calories/item/11167.html
But they have it for everything.
Sweet. This should really get my @ss in gear to LOSE some weight!
