provera - how many days, how much, when did you get AF?

this is my third cycle in six months that i need provera to get AF.

first two times i used the script from my ob/gyn, 5mg for 5 days. got AF the 4th and 5th days after the last pill on both cycles.

this cycle RE gave me a script for 5mg for 7days. i still have one refill on the ob script as well even though i filled the RE one since i am away and couldnt decide which one to do.

whats the benefit of the extra two days of pills?

what are your experiences with provera?
if i take it for two more days will i still get AF about 4-5 days later? i know there is no way to know im just wondering everyone elses experiences. i def want to get on to my next cycle already!!

I took it the past two cycles for 10 days. The first cycle I got it on day 10 before I took my last pill and the second cycle I got it the day after I finished the pills.

I didn't know you could take it for less than 10...I hate waiting 10 days!

Both times I had a very light flow with it....did you experience the same?

i did 2 cycles of it. took for 10 days would get AF the day or 2 after stopping the pills
