provera/spotting/period question **update**
So usually when I take provera I get Af 4 days after I take the last pill. Well I woke up tuesday morning and I was spotting brown. I have been spotting ever since then and now I am wondering what is gpoing on. So far it has been light and I havent had to wear more than a panty liner so it is pretty constant and very dark.
Should I call the dr? Wait for red? I dont want to screw up my clomid cycle.

Re: provera/spotting/period question
OK this is going to be TMI so you are warned LOL!
This was my first cycle taking Provera...6 days after I stopped (yesterday) I spotted brown (like no red or pink at all) all day yesterday, definitely not enough even for a pad but maybe like one pantyliner all day. This morning, maybe because it built up while I was sleeping I had some red but still really light. I just changed my tampon (just one all day) and its still really brown and not a lot of blood like a usual period...but when I talked to the doctor's office today they said to count today as day 1 even though its like that.
I read your other post and I think you did a Clomid cycle but didn't ovulate, right? They started you right back on Provera? I think maybe the brown and not a lot of volume is because the lining didn't really have a chance to build up, you know? If you've been spotting since Tuesday I'd call the doctor tomorrow and ask them. Are you starting Clomid on Day 3? I wouldn't want you to miss it so definitely give them a call. Good luck! I'm starting Clomid on Saturday.

Re: provera/spotting/period question
Thanks for responding.. I will call the dr when they open today. I take clomid starting on day 5 so I should still be able to get in before that.

Re: provera/spotting/period question
I have...not a full bleed but heavy "staining" I would have called it. I think the OP was right - there was no lining, really, so there isn't anything to bleed out.

Thanks! I am freaking a bit that they wont be able to get me in today. I have class and she said she was going to let us out at 1230, but who knows.
Ill call as soon as the office opens. If this is the case, I should be starting clomid tomorrow, Sunday the latest

Re: provera/spotting/period question
Hey I just googled it and it seems like really light periods are common with Provera. Especially if you have a hormonal imbalance like PCOS or something else with low estrogen, your lining won't build up enough to have a full period.
Also, I just went for my Day 3 testing (my doc called and wanted me to come today instead of going to the city tomorrow, yay) and the nurse said that its totally fine. Sometimes its really light and other times normal, it can change every cycle.
HTH!!!

Re: provera/spotting/period question
So LUCKILY my teacher was really cool and let me leave to go to the doctor and then come back and catch up.
I was able to get my sono and perscription so I am set to start tomorrow with 100mgs. She said the same things you guys did, about the lining not being built up etc.

That's great! Looks like we're on the exact same schedule LOL except I'm starting with 50 mg. I hope I don't turn into too much of a b*tch on it...
Good luck!!!!

I did 50 last month and it didnt work for me :(
I didnt have ANY mood problems with clomid...the provera puts me right into B*TCH mode though. The only thing I had was hot flashes.

Nice . Looking forward to those. On the advice of the girls here I'm going to take it at night to try to minimize any side effect. I hope the 50 works!
