Prozac for Cats?
I posted a couple months ago about my older cat urinating in my laundry, on bath mats, etc. Vet said it could be an inflammation, gave her antibiotics, didnt help it. I isolated her to the bathroom on three seperate occassions and she stopped doing it (although she is no longer allowed in our bedroom and I have removed all mats). Now, for the past three days, she is defecating in the bathtub I know its an anxiety issue. I know she hates the other cat. It will be a year in March since we rescuded Miso and they still go at each other. Sushi has a vet appt. coming up and I will mention the bathtub problem to the vet but I know he will tell me there's nothing physically wrong with her. I have been doing some reading online and see that some people give prozac to relieve anxiety. I was wondering if anyone has tried this with their cats? I did try a phermone collar and that didnt help at all. I feel so bad that my kitty is so stressed
