PS- I Love You...was it only me, or...
was I the only person that watched the entire movie and didn't shed one tear?
I cry about EVERYTHING!
Children singing Old people holding hands My soap operas Cheesy songs
You name it.
That movie didn't move me one iota.
It was sweet. Total chick flick. Enjoyable.
But moving...not really.
I even prepared myself with a box of tissues, and didn't need a one.
I was highly disappointed as I wanted to have a good cry, and was left high and dry.
And I thought for SURE I would be moved. Especially since I just had a scare with a brain tumor. And again...nada.
Just wondering if I was alone in this?

ditto
i mean it was okay. i think i might have gotten a little teary eyed at a few points--but not really cause i was feeling bad for HER...but more of me wondering how i would deal if it was my DH that passed on.
but i wasn't boo-hooing as much as i thought i would. but seriously Gerard Butler--omg --- so lickable!

I haven't seen this yet, but I feel the same about The Notebook. Everyone on the planet said it was such a tearfest, but I didn't cry. It was a sweet/sad movie, but it didn't make me cry.

I didn't cry either. It was sweet and touching. But I don't usually "boo-hoo" at movies either.

nah....I didn't cry. I had read the book previously and didn't cry then either.
p.s.- I liked the book alot better since it had more details.

Re: PS- I Love You...was it only me, or...
I cry at everything! Under the Tuscan Sun- not even a sad movie- I bawled. My mom almost took me out of The Holiday because I was crying so much. Don't even get me started on Finding Neverland
But as with the OP, not ONE tear during PS! The book was better, but not great. I think it bugged me that they changed to much, including the Irish setting! I also think H. Swank was miscast!
