PSA: BRU Registry

I just wanted to let you ladies know something that I learned this week. I know that we all have added online to our registry. We happened to recieve two pack and plays and I went to return one to the BRU here on Staten Island and they wouldn't take it back because they didn't carry the pattern in that store.

It isn't a big deal, I just have to use the packing slip and call UPS and they pick it up, but I just wanted to give people a heads up since I know everyone has people who order offline and have things sent.Chat Icon

Re: PSA: BRU Registry

i find that sooo annoying, it's their merchandise. i have a whole lot of stuff to bring back on saturday and i am hoping they don't give me a hard time. i got triplicates and duplicates of many things from my registry and imo that's their mistake, not the consumer.

It is not necessarily BRU's mistake if the person that bought didn't say they were buying off a registry

Mine was from my registry and marked as purchased off my registry.

I also got two of my travel system, my MIL says she purchased it online and my sister bought it in the store, they both said they used the registry.

all of the people i asked, with the duplicates said they gave my registry at time of purchase. plus on my online registry it would say "1 requested, 2 purchased" for a couple of the items.

i don't really care, as long as they don't give me a hard time with returning.
