PSA: Call Before You Dig (Fence Work, Pavers, Cement, Patios, Stoops)
Since so many posts are going around about Fences installation & paver or cement work, I wanted to post about "811" if you didn't know about it already.
It is a service for all of New York State. Such a great way to know where all of your utilities are before you dig anywhere on your property.
Dial 811 and they do all the work for you. They get each utility out to your property to mark their utility with a color. Check out their site here.

OMG this is totally unrelated but DS dialed "811" on the phone today and it started ringing, and I hung up before anyone answered. I was totally wondering what the heck 811 was!
