PSA: CVS Diapers
I went to CVS today to pick up some diapers for DD (the CVS brand) and they rang up but 2 get 1 free (CVS brand only). Plus I scanned my extracare card at that new kiosk thing they have and got a coupon for $3 off CVS purchase of $10 or more. So basically I got 3 packs of the Supremes for $5 each....
FYI: There was no sign saying B2 get 1 by the diapers....I found out because I saw it come up when the cashier was ringing up my items.

Re: PSA: CVS Diapers
The buy 2 get 1 was going on a few weeks ago - is it some weird glitch at a specific CVS, or anywhere?

Re: PSA: CVS Diapers
Liza....I don't know because I went to another CVS earlier last week and the diapers were not on sale. Today they were...don't know if it was a glitch or what but there was definitely no advertisement in the store or in the flyer.
Lisa I don't use Pampers since DD is allergic to the perfume they put in them but I love the CVS supreme diapers. IMO they are just as good as the Huggies and they don't leak even overnight...the Huggies did occasionally. Actually I tried them on a whim because DD is really sensitive and they had a sample pack for $1.49 with a $1.00 coupon inside. They are perfume and dye free so I figured what the hey I'll try them if I don't like them it's only $1.49. Turns out I love them. I've done some research and most parents rave about them. My nextdoor neighbor actually reccomended them to me when I was pregnant. She used them for both kids and had nothing but good things to say.
Also if you go to CVS frequently they run alot of good sales and offer extra care bucks...you can use those to buy any item in the store. For example today I needed toothbrushes and they had the colgate ones for $3.99 and then you get $3.99 in Extra Care Bucks. I bought two toothbrushes got $7.98 in Extra care bucks then went back and got the diapers used my $3 off $10 of CVS brand coupons plus the $7.98 extra care bucks....so I got almost $12 off the price of my total. Make sure you have a CVS card. If you don't ask for one and they will give it to you right there. Also CVS has a money back guarantee policy so you can return them if you don't like them...same with any CVS product. Personally I find most of the CVS products to be great.

They rang up on sale at my CVS on North Shore in Suffolk.

IMHO, nothing compares to Pampers. CVS are ok but NOT for overnight

I do have to agree with this. I do like the CVS, but made the mistake of using them overnight last night, and DD leaked thru them this morning.

Re: PSA: CVS Diapers
I have had no issues with CVS diapers, even using them overnight. They aren't very "fitted" though like Luvs or other name brands, so I've found that poop leaks out of them

Did anyone else go and buy them? I wonder if there is a limit on the offer.

Re: PSA: CVS Diapers
I will only use the Supremes - not the Ultra thins - i agree that they aren't goodfor overnight, but otherwise I like them a lot! I'll have to check out CVS - unfortunately I JUST stocked up on Pampers because they were on sale at CVS....

Re: PSA: CVS Diapers
Just wanted to update: I went to CVS and they told me that all CVS brand items are buy 2 get 1 free. I got a bunch of diapers and a $4.00 coupon for my next purchase. I'll be heading back tomorrow.
In addition to that some sizes of CVS Supremes and Ultrathins are on clearance ($4.75) b/c they are coming out with a new theme for those sizes. My store had limited quantities left but size 4's weren't on clearance anyway.

I've only used the Supremes and they never leaked on us overnight. They are great....but every baby is different.
