I tried my HARDEST to only allow machine-washable animals in the crib, it worked for a while...just for the germ factor, I wanted them all washable.
But slowly non-washable ones started creeping into the crib

Yup we washed several stuffed animals and threw away some last week after the bug hit our house. Kaydyn sleeps with about 10 stuffed animals so there was a big mess.

Even if they aren't machine washable, we have made them that way in the past. Even his favorite, Mr. Lion, had a music box that went bad after his first wash when he was an infant. I even performed surgery and got rid of the music box. He was too little to realize.

But it's so frustrating too when he sleeps ON a large puppy every night and won't sleep without him. We have a backup we keep in the closet for throwing up emergencies, but even we couldn't keep up with the washing of two puppies when he was throwing up so much.
