PSA: Getting the Fabric Protection is worth it!!

We bought a leather sofa, chair and ottoman from Macy's over 2 years ago. The other day I noticed a tear in the pillowback on the seam. It's about 2 inches long.

I called the warranty place yesterday and he said that if I got it repaired, that it would happen again, so they are send me a brand new sofa! Chat Icon Chat Icon I'm so excited Chat Icon

I had a similar experience in the past, which is why when we just ordered new furniture I paid the extra $$ for it again.

New sofa! That's exciting!!

Thanks for posting this Christine! We just got our leather couch from Macy's last weekend and we bought the fabric protection too. The "if you don't use it, you'll get the cost in a gift card at the end of the period" was what sold us too!

we didn't buy it from fortunoff and I am totally regreting it

the leather cracked on our couch- and we are out of luck

good thing I like the "destressed" look

I would never not buy it again

It is sooooo worth it!!!!

I got a sofa set from Macy's with a 5-year protection plan on it. When I moved from 1 apartment to another, my brother and boyfriend at the time (Now my DH) ripped one of the Sofa's.

Well I called the # and mind you this was 4-years and 6-months later Chat Icon . They came to check it out and because they did not make the couch in that color anymore and could not only replace 1 of the Sofa's, they gave me a credit for a brand new set! Chat Icon
