PSA: Help for pregancy nose bleeds
Some background: my sister had a nose job last year (shhh! she'd kill me if she knew I were writing this).
Anyway, the other day we were hanging out and the heat was on in the room. My nose spontaneously begins bleeding and it won't stop. She gave me the greatest tip ever to help prevent/stop nosebleeds: with a q-tip, gently swab a thin layer of vaseline around the inside of each nostril. Preganancy (and apparently nose jobs) dry out the mucous membrane making us prone to nose bleeds.
It totally helped stop the nosebleed (after it stopped gushing). And again this morning, I felt like my nose was really dry and gonna start bleeding. I did the vaseline thing and it felt much better right away. I hope I now saved a few of you from the dreaded, unexpected nosebleed.

Yes! This is what teh ER Dr. told me when my Halloween nosebleed landed me in the hospital.

This will be a good bit of info (if I remember it) the next time I am PG.... during my 4th and 5th months I went through many days and nights of horrible nosebleeds!!!!!!!!
