PSA Pro-biotic

My doc gave me a sample of Align. I've used all kinds of pro-biotics over the years and acidophlius and you name it but nothing has worked like this.

I have Crohns but this is really working to regulate everything. It's a different strain of bacteria.

I highly recommend it. I don't have angry intestines anymore.

How many times a day do you take it? Does this help with regulating?
I have acid reflux and IBS.

Re: PSA Pro-biotic

Most of our immune system is in the gut and specifically in the bacteria that colonizes there. I've been taking a probiotic blend since I was discharged from the hospital from my last diverticulitis attack....not only has my IBS been very, very quiet, I haven't had a cold, virus or been sick in almost a year. So, I am a huge advocate of adding good bacteria to the body. Congrats on taming your colon!!!!

Re: PSA Pro-biotic

It's worked on my reflux and my D and my gas and bloat. Even DH commented that my belly is not bloated.

I ran out of my samples so I ordered some more. It will take about a week to get it so I'm hoping my other bottle of stuff will keep me quiet.

Re: PSA Pro-biotic

Most drug stores have it. I saw it in Walgreens today.

It's not cheap but none of the good ones are.

OTC=Over the counter

With crohns I get gut pain, grumbles, gas, bloats..etc..this has calmed it down significantly.

It's about $25-30 for 28 pills. That's about what I pay for some other pro-biotics at the Vitamin shoppe that don't do squat.

Re: PSA Pro-biotic

I love probiotics. I was taking the Shaklee probiotic's until i got pregnant. I did find it eased the bloating, calmed the reflux and over all made digestion a lot better.

its also the one thing that saved my mother after 2 years of a gastro specialist not realizing she had a yeast problem.

I saw this thread a few days ago and went to Target and Rite-Aid looking for it, but neither carried it. Is it easy to find at other drugstores? I don't want to drive all over the Island!
