psa regarding babies whom watch tv with their back 2 you
Ok.Dh thought letting them face forward and watch tv would be a good way for Max to eat.
I have three great eaters and well Max thinks food is only necessary only every few days or weeks.
Tonight I make dinner, and see Max have a pea on the rim of his nose. I tell him no! and we get it.
Fast forward to cleaning up..Jake is complaining and screaming ball which he does from the second he opens his eyes in the morning. (He says everything else) but he is NUTS WITH ALL BALLS!HA
so..hes saying ball and points to his nose.
I am like omg--I bet he copied the other one!
we lay him down and get a flashlight and sure as shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit the kid shoved a pea allllllllllll the way up his nose.
Iwaslike fantastic! another health fiasco for the upteenth time in 2 weeks..
I go upstairs and get dressed forthe ER>
Stan thankfully pushed it down and he sneezed it out.
later on..Maxwas dancing...Stan grabbed him and pinched his nose and a PEA FELL OUT!
so..........if you got this far---no peas unless they are facing me...or anything round, or resembles a ball, or anything that can fit! ha!
too much stimulation!
edited to add--they really aren't completely forward and we can see them but apparently not as well as if I was close enough to lick the kids. ha

Ever watch Everyone Loves Raymond? The brother Robbie was grilling Raymond's babysitter or somehting on if they know how to get a Capn Crunch out of a nostril, because Raymond did that as a kid. When the person looked perplexed, Robbie says "Crunch and blow!"

OH GOODNESS!!!!!!!! Very true. Taking a bug out of DS's nose was very traumatic for us. He seemed so relieved.

I took two trips to the Dr. as a kid for shoving things up my nose. Once it was pieces of walnut and then another time it was rolled up pieces of napkin. I've been keeping and eye on DS because he has a habit of repeating my bad toddler behaviors.

I will say at least you caught it and got it out.
My uncle stuck a blueberry up his nose when he was little. It was up there two weeks before something triggered my g'ma to take him to the doctor, where they figured out the problem

it odd how your family is so like mine at times..lol
Ii was wondering..say it does not get found, does the blueberry just go to your brain or eventually fall out?
a blueberry is kidn of big too.lol
maybe these kids will practice for bigger and better things.
