I am now finally calmed down so I'm now able to type. My ds is 3 months old so he is obviously in the infant carrier. As always I carry himpout to the car using the handle like you should. Well today after I took him to the ped for a shot I went shooping and had him in the snap n go stroller.
So when I'm done I go and pack up the car. I roll him around to the side of the car where his base is, so like anyone you take the seat and snap it in the base. Well I ALWAYS put up the handle and pick him up that way and snap him in. Well today i didn't and just grabbed the sides of the seat and he slipped. The seat flipped over and landed with him face down. I FREAKED out. I flip it back over and he looks stunned and then starts crying. Though I don't know who was crying more me or him. I called the ped and told them I was across the street from the office and what happened and I rushed him back over there. They said he is fine but obviously watch him closely for the next 12 /24 hours. He has a little road rash on the top of his forehead and I'll be scarred forever.
So PLEASE always use the handle to put the baby into the car coming from out of the snap and go.
