I just tried to drive down to Queens from Orange County for a real estate closing and it was impossible. I got as far as Tuxedo/Sloatsburg area (about 15 minutes from my house on a normal day) and that took an over an hour. I saw 7 accidents, and someone almost hit me on my way back home. I had to swerve out of the way to avoid getting hit. I picked up Grace from daycare and THANK GOD we got home safe.

The roads are horrendous and they have been plowing up here since the middle of the night. I have a Subaru Forrester and I am thankful b/c if I did not have all wheel drive, that guy would have hit me for sure. Chat Icon

Anyway, if you do not have to go out and drive today, please don't. I am not usually buying all of the stuff they say on TV about the roads, but today it is ALL TRUE!
