psychiatrist recommendation?
I have a family member that I believe is depressed and in need of professional help.
If I do get them to agree to go to therapy I am wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a psychiatrist in Queens or Nassau?
This person has sought help before and not felt like the psychiatrist "got them" and now does not believe in therapy.

Dr. Michael Genovese in Garden City on Stewart Ave. So far, he has helped my brother.

Don't let them office convince you to see the nurse practioner..she's good but not the doc.

Unfortunately, no. This person does not have health insurance.
