Public shaming!! Litterer!
To the kid driving in the black Oldsmobile Alero - license plate EXN 8093. I saw you throw your fast food bag and cup out of your window on Sunrise Hwy Westbound - just before Seamens Neck Rd in Seaford.

That was one thing we really noticed when we moved from Massachusetts to Long Island - too many people are pigs here, littering without a care, just throwing their trash on the side of the road. The highways here have so much stuff dumped on them, traffic lights seem to be an excuse to empty your ashtray or toss your cigarette on the ground. I'm disgusted by it and it's one of the reasons we don't want to stay here when we retire.

I get so mad when I see people do that! I once saw a man throw his coffee cup out his window and he was parked along Sunrise Hwy outside a 711 parking lot. I was driving otherwise I would have said something.

I doubt the 'kid' will see this shaming  but I get what your getting at. It drives me NUTS to see anyone throw anything out a car window. Including gum and cigarette butts. I hate it!! Take it with out. Throw it out at your destination!

I so remember this! i didn't realize it was that old!
It's not just NY...we have a vacation house in Mexico (driving distance from border) and it is appalling that Americans (US plates) will just throw out their kitchen garbage bags on the street instead of finding the appropriate place to discard.

This behavior pi$$es me off!! I saw a guy in a ToH car do this the other day. I tried to speed up to get next to him to say something but I got caught by the light.

the worst littering I saw was about a month ago. The passenger in the car in front of us threw an entire bag of garbage--like your household kitchen garbage bag--out of his window in the middle of the street. It made no sense and was absolutely disgusting.

And if for some reason that kid was driving, say, his parent's car, who knows? They might see this. I say good for you for posting it!!
