Pull-Ups or straight to underwear?
I assumed I would use pull-ups when potty training ds, then a friend said she thinks going straight to underwear is the way to go, that pull-ups confuses kids. I'd love to hear your opinions. Thanks!

We did underwear and pullups at night, while I am sure it's much less messy with pullups, IMO they are pretty much diapers. Now I am doing training pants at night (like the rubber kind) as he is waking up dry most of the time.

straight to undies....did it for both girl and boy! we tried pull ups with DD.....I didn't see how it was an different than wearing a diaper

we did pull ups for a few days, but then went to underwear.
She did much better then I thought. IMO, cold turkey is the way to go.

We do pull ups at night only. DS wakes up dry MOST days but about once every other week or so, he will be in a very deep sleep and have an "accident". I use the pull ups purely out of my own laziness so I don't have to change sheets

For my SD, she wore panties during the day and pull ups at night.
