Pumpkin pie
I normally make pumpkin pie using the can mix where you just add the evap. milk and eggs, but I would like to make one from scratch. So if anyone has a reciepe for pumpkin pie using the pumpkins they pick please share.

Pumpkin pie recipe
I've been making pumpkin pie from scratch for years, and this is my favorite recipe. My secret is that instead of evaporated milk, use sweetened condensed milk. This is key!! It makes 2 pies, which is fine because you can give it to a friend or bring it in to work. I might make 4 this year and bring one to work, keep one for us, and give 2 to friends.
