I booked at the Majestic Colonial it is a family hotel. But one review I saw that it said if you have kids bring toys.

We went to the Iberostar Bavaro Suites in October and loved it. The food was good, family friendly. They have a kids club for 4+. I would recommend it.

Ditto this one
That is where my DH and I went in May and it was fantastic. You have access to all 3 resorts on the property...but the Bavaro All Suites is the best one out of the 3 on site.

I stayed at Melia Caribe Tripical and loved it.
It was huge. Great restaurants.
