Re: puppy shampoo?
When tinkerbell was little my breeder told me to use Johnson's baby shampoo. She said it's just as good as any expensive puppy shampoo and won't hurt her eyes...so thats what i did!

Re: puppy shampoo?
Based on reccos here and by my breeder, we bought Johnson's and Johnson's Baby Shampoo.
But we have a Lab and they are prone to skin issues if you bathe them too often or with harsh shampoo.
We washed him once and now he's scratching and biting a lot. He doesn't have fleas.
Our vet said not to use J&J and told us oatmeal based shampoos are the best ones.
It depends on the dog too of course, so if you try something, pay attention to any issues or problems. We are switching now because of his current issues. Also dog food plays a part in keeping their coats oily enough to stay healthy and shiny but not stinky.

Re: puppy shampoo?
several vets told me that johnson's is the way to go b/c it is so gentle on their eyes. i have yet to have ANY skin problems with charlotte. quite the opposite, her fur and skin is soft and no dryness whatsoever.
