purchasing a contract phone with a store credit?

I was going to buy a new phone this week. I was going to get it straight from Verizon...but it just dawned on me that I have 2 things to return to wal mart and it will prob be a credit of about $80. Could I use that credit when buying a new phone in their store? I know they do verizon cell phones...but I've never bought a cell phone from anywhere but the verizon store. Is there any difference in warranties or servicing?

You can get a phone pretty much anywhere as long as it is for your provider. However, sometimes the insurance they sell is different in third party stores than it would be in a corporate store. I would do a little research to make sure you get a protection plan for the phone that you want to have.
