Push and Pull with breaks toys?? Or some kind of walking assiting toy??

Does anyone know of any push and pull toys that are helpful in teaching how to walk? I would like something for Lucy's 1st birthday but I feel that so many of them are unsafe because is she does try to pull herself on it the toy will just start rolling and she will fall. WDYT?Chat Icon

We got my son a little tikes walker that has a control lever near the wheel. It allows us to control how freely the wheels move. Right now we have it so that there is more resistance to support DS so that the wheels don't go full force and take him with it.

This fun, mail carrier activity walker has a wide, easy grip handle and a stable base that make it easy for little ones to walk behind. Parents will also appreciate the soft textured wheels with speed adjustments to help prevent slips. The Wide Tracker Activity Walker is designed to grow along with kids - it folds so baby can play with it on the floor, then opens into a walker as they begin to toddle about. Its loaded with fun skill activities, too, including a spinner, a clicking caterpillar and butterfly, and a sliding bee. 3 letters drop into the mail slot or store behind the two flip down doors.

THank you, Ang. I think that might be what I am looking for... She hasn't started walking yet but she is trying to pull herself up on things, trying being the operative wordChat Icon

We have the same one. The resistance lever is a really nice feature. Now that DC are older, they still enjoy playing with it. It's a car, or a shopping cart, doll stroller, etc.
