Re: push pals for giving birth
I held on under my knees and a nurse helped me keep one leg up while DH helped on the other side. I'd say it's a waste of money, IMO.

I agree. If you plan on delivering at a hospital, those will not be needed.

I have to say that for some reason these made me laugh, in a hospital the nurses and DH hold under your knees. This wouldn't be necessary...IMO

They made me laugh too - I am not sure why - but they did. I had handles on my bed that I held on to - I don't think you need them.

Re: push pals for giving birth
DH held one leg and my doula held the other. I don't know if I would have had the energy even with those to hold my legs up. I was pretty wiped out by the time it came to pushing.

DH held one leg while my mom held the other. Don't spend your money on them.

Re: push pals for giving birth
Wow, I wonder how women ever gave birth without them!
The stuff they come up with!

Re: push pals for giving birth
I laughed at these too.
No offense, I think the nurses and doctor would laugh someone out of the delivery room if they said wait, let me strap these things on. Also, once you have an epidural, you can't even feel your legs so I can't imagine getting them on.
