Pushy people

OMG...Im gonna scream! This woman my mom is friends with, is so gossipy and nosy. She doesnt stop and when she meets people you know she hooks onto them and becomes their friend whether they want it or not. When my father passed away she "thinks" she became my grandma and my mothers mom. She decides out of no where to call my friggin in laws. How do I get this gossip, pushy lady to back up and get out of me and DHs life? She is driving me nuts! Even during my wedding planning she needed to look for my dress and my moms. shes ridiculous.

I think you need talk to your mom about her. Tell her that you want it to be just mother/daughter. You respect that fact that she's befriended your mom, but you dont' want her calling your in-laws or involved in your wedding planning. Ask your mom if she wants to get the point across or does she want you to address it.

I am actually already married. I was referring to the past. Now that my dad has recently passed away, this woman thinks she is my new found family member. I dont think my mom can handle setting limits for this woman at the current time. I almost feel like my conversation might need to be geared towards my mother in law avoiding this womans phone calls. Maybe I need to talk to my mother in law or other people she crosses over to within the next few months. I just want her to back off my life.
