Put Your Thinking Caps On!
I'm trying to rent a high end vehicle for my boss' trip to wine country. They would like a convertible but the only ones I see at all the rental companies are Ford Mustangs and Chrysler Sebrings..
She would really like a foreign car..
any suggestions?
trying to make the boss happy..

I'm not sure how many foreign convertibles are available from the mainstream rental companies.
Where is your boss flying in to? Some cities have very high end rental car dealers... ex. Rolls, Porsche, etc.
A Saab or Jaguar might be nice. Keep in mind they do tend to have little storage room for luggage.

for a foreign car you are probably going to have to go to a specialty rental company. most big rental companies do not deal with foreign cars.
where is she going?

You could try calling directly to a local car (Mercedes, bmw, lexus) dealer. they may be able to help you.

That's the place my brother has rented from when in Las Vegas for bachelor parties.
They rent a porsche and ferrari and then just drive up and down the strip, over and over again Boys

Yep, I did, but they can't guarantee the car.
Most of the regular car companies can get you a high end vehicle-they just can't guarantee it. If you call the specialty car companies and go directly through them, then you get the car. This is what I'm learning anyway now.
Found a Beemer for her..$1163 for the week..not a bad price considering the Ford Mustang was $600 through Hertz!

What's really nice is that she really appreciates all the research I do for her and she tells me..
