Putting baby powder all over the body?
I saw MIL doing this to my DS yesterday who is 5.5 months old. I didn't say anything at the time because she is always complaining that I make her feel like everything she does is wrong (that's another story for another day!  ), but my instincts tell me that it might be dangerous (I think I read somewhere that babies can inhale baby powder and it can make them choke).
Is it just a weird thing that she does (or maybe it's not weird, I don't know), or is it actually dangerous?
In the meantime I've hidden the baby powder.

i think its ok to use in diaper/creases but not good for baby to breathe at all so keep away from face

I do know they used to do this to us when we were babies but it's not advised anymore because it's so fine and easily inhaled and then choked on.
I know you don't want to have words with your MIL but in this case, I would tell her how dangerous it could be.
