Putting Bedding on the Registry...

Hey ladies,

I figured I'd ask this question to the panel of experts. Chat Icon

My mom thinks I should put the baby's bedding on my registry. I have it on there now, but I'm noticing that a lot of people on here bought it themselves.

Do you think that is an item that should go on one's registry? Or, do you think I should take it off and buy it myself?

Thanks!!!

T (and Chat Icon )

Re: Putting Bedding on the Registry...

I didn't put it on mine because my family bought it for me, but I don't see any reason why you can't put it on your registry. If someone doesn't get it, I'm sure you will get it yourself anyway.

Re: Putting Bedding on the Registry...

I put mine on the registry. And my mom bought it as soon as I told her that I was registered! Chat Icon I shouldn't have told her so soon b/c I kind of changed my mind about it. As long as you are sure about the bedding, I would definitely register for it! Chat Icon

I had it on mine and my sister bought it for me and everyone else bought the accessories. Most people I know put it on and have it bought for them for their shower.

I would put it on the registry........lots of people do. The only reason I didn't was because I wanted it early on so we could design the room around the colors and theme. However, I did register for all the bedding accessories (lamp, hamper, pictures, etc.) and so far everything on that registry had been bought. Chat Icon

Re: Putting Bedding on the Registry...

I put it on, but am not really expecting to get it. I'm not 100% sure I like my bedding. I always like it in person, but don't like it online, so whenever I see it online I'm not thrilled. But, I kept it on figuring I can always return it, and if nobody buys it I will at least get the discount.

I put it on the registry, and it's one of the few sets that is completely purchased at this point! (shower on 8/23)

it's definite registry material....

ITA. And it lets people know that there is something you could buy with a gift card.Chat Icon

Re: Putting Bedding on the Registry...

If you dont plan on buying it yourself, you should def add it to your registry. I bought mine from www.babysupermall.com, (I wasn't registered there).

Re: Putting Bedding on the Registry...

I put it on mine. My mom's friends want to buy it for us. Also, this way, people will know the color scheme if they want to buy other things for the baby's room. We are also team Chat Icon so I registered for boy and girl bedding. I am Jewish so not expecting any gifts until after baby is born anyway. My mom's friends will be at BBB the minute they find out what we had Chat Icon Chat Icon . Knowing them, as soon as mom tells them the scheduled time for my c, they may even go over then Chat Icon Chat Icon
