Re: putting things together
My MIL is doing the bassinet so I am not really too worried about that as she can always put it together when I am in the hospital if need be. Our bouncy seat is together, more because we wanted to see it. I figure I would like to have it all together and ready by 38 weeks
I am now 36 weeks.

Re: putting things together
I've been bugging DH about this already at 32 weeks, but I may be having this baby in 4-5 weeks. I'm hoping to have stuff done this weekend. I feel like I need it all done to feel "ready" if that makes sense....

Re: putting things together
I'm hoping to put whatever needs to be assembled together on Friday. DH & I are both off from work (this is a first for me) and we should be able to do stuff during daylight hours when I have some energy.
ETA: I'm 37w2d.

Re: putting things together
We havent put anything together yet. Well, we havent really gotten anything yet either. We just got the bassinet today and I think we will put it together tomorrow and cover it with a sheet so it doesnt get dusty. We are buying a new car, so once we get that we will put the carseat in. Probably do the pack-n-play in a few weeks. Thats all we'll do in advance though(besides cleaning the baby's clothes). We are trying to hold off until Im off bedrest because I want to see it all.(So in about 2 1/2 weeks)

Re: putting things together
I am 27 weeks, and every time I get something new I put it together... The bassinett has been put up for a couple of months already, I also put together her stroller a couple of months ago... I just put together her swing last night, I'm putting together her highchair today. I don't think I'm going to put together her crib for a couple of months, but that's only because we are house hunting, and I don't know where I'll be in the next 3 months, and I seriously think that it will be easier to move it (the crib) when it's not put together than when it is...
ETS: Brian laughed at me last night when he got out of the shower cuz I was in the middle of being Little Miss Put It Together... He knows that I LOVE doing stuff like that!!!!!!

I had everything put together by 37 weeks. I waited til her room was totally finished so I could keep everything in there all fresh.

Re: putting things together
waiting until after she gets here only because we are house hunting so I hope that we have a house before or soon after she is born and I don't want to have to take it all apart right after we put it together

I'm in the same boat as you... We are house hunting as well. I'm not putting her crib together for that reason... but if we are still here in 3 months +... I wanna have the stuff available and ready to use. Her bassinet will be her bed for the first 3 months anyway...
