Q about Disney Magic Hours, do parks open 30 minutes prior to early magic opening the way they do for regular opening?

Q about Disney Magic Hours, do parks open 30 minutes prior to early magic opening the way they do for regular opening?
During the week we are going to Disney (1st week of December), there are extra magic hours (8-9).
Does that mean we can walk into the parks at 7:30am?

Nope - you can get there at 8am when the gates open for just people who stay in the park's hotels

Nope - you can get there at 8am when the gates open for just people who stay in the park's hotels
OK, just wanted to confirm. When we went in April, the open time was 9:00 but we walked into the parks at 8:30.
