I find the trick is to be consistent
There were plenty of weeks that I did not lose, or even (gulp) gained, but I kept on truckin'!
I also found that the scale and how my clothes fit did not always equal...so if the scale doesn't move, don't let it get you down...

You sooo right on the scale and how clothes fit. Aslo I see the same person in the mirror..even if I loose a lil I still see the "bad" things. I have a hard time getting over that. I had a baby 8 months ago and Im so axious to loose that wieght then work on the "old" wieght.

Yes! I used to lose pretty easily and could indulge from time to time and still see results. Now, I need to be in boot camp. I run after my daughter almost all day, watch what I eat, and while I don't go to the gym as often as I should, I used to not go at all.

I agree consistency is the key. It's much better to just eat healthy and keep moving.
If you try to crash diet and exercise it will only last for a few weeks.
I also invest in good cookbooks and/or cooking shows that show me how to make healthier versions of the foods that I love.
