Re: Q for 35yrs & over

I find the trick is to be consistent

There were plenty of weeks that I did not lose, or even (gulp) gained, but I kept on truckin'!

I also found that the scale and how my clothes fit did not always equal...so if the scale doesn't move, don't let it get you down...

Re: Q for 35yrs & over

You sooo right on the scale and how clothes fit. Aslo I see the same person in the mirror..even if I loose a lil I still see the "bad" things. I have a hard time getting over that.
I had a baby 8 months ago and Im so axious to loose that wieght then work on the "old" wieght.

Yes! I used to lose pretty easily and could indulge from time to time and still see results. Now, I need to be in boot camp. Chat Icon I run after my daughter almost all day, watch what I eat, and while I don't go to the gym as often as I should, I used to not go at all.

I agree consistency is the key. It's much better to just eat healthy and keep moving.

If you try to crash diet and exercise it will only last for a few weeks.

I also invest in good cookbooks and/or cooking shows that show me how to make healthier versions of the foods that I love.
